WIU's Fall Open House Dear Educators, Your students and their parents are encouraged to attend our fall Open House that will be taking place on Sept. 27th at the Livestock Center. Students need to register on-line atwww.wiu.edu/ag. They will get a chance to meet with students, faculty, take a campus tour, and a university farm tour. Several open scholarships will be given away for their attendance at this event. If you haven't heard the School of Agriculture was announced as a "Signature Program" on campus. The university announced 12 degree programs as signature programs and the School of Agriculture was one of those programs. Our enrollment numbers are in for the fall of 2013 and we are up 2% from this time last year. WE have 366 majors this fall. We are closing in on our goal of 400 majors. Our students continue to achieve at various levels as well as compete and win at the national level. We would like a chance in becoming their institution of choice! Please encourage them to complete the on-line registration. We are searching for the best to complete the Class of 2014, so they can carry on the traditions of being a Leatherneck.
