Show order has changed - Swine will first thing in the morning, followed by sheep and goats
61st ANNUAL CUBA LIVESTOCK SHOW
Livestock Entries - Entries DUE on Monday June 3rd

CUBA, ILLINOIS ---------------------------------FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2018
A one day show only - located the Fulton County Fairgrounds; Judging starts at 9:00 a.m. with Goats/Sheep @ 10am (market lambs 1st), hogs at 9 a.m. (gilts 1st), beef will start at 12:30 p.m. Held in conjunction with Cuba Soldiers and Sailors Reunion and supervised by the Cuba Agricultural Advisory Council and FFA Alumni, they will not be responsible for any accidents.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. This show is open to any Fulton County 4-H or FFA dues paying member. No entry fee.
2. Show order is: Swine, Sheep, goats, 12:30 starts the Dairy Cattle, Bucket Calf, Beef Classes
3. Steers, Commercial Heifers, Market lambs, Barrows will be weighed on the grounds before showing.
4. Sheep/Swine must be in place by 7 a.m., and Cattle/Horse in place by 9:00am. The decision of judges will be final. All entries will remain until 5 p.m. or until released. All exhibits must be property of the exhibitor from the beginning of the project year.
5. Health Regulations. Heifers/Sheep = Certificate, Steers = no papers, Swine = Neg. Pseudo rabies
6. Pens, stalls and SAWDUST will NOT be provided.
7. All steers and heifers must have been dropped after January 1st, 2017. All steers may be mouthed and any found with one set of permanent teeth will not be eligible. No horned cattle.
8. All lambs/kids must be lambed/kidded after Jan. 1st, 2018. All breeds show together. All lambs/kids will be checked for sore mouth and foot rot prior to unloading. All market lambs must be slick shorn.
9. All animals must be stalled in the space provided. Keep animals in building and designated area.
10. Bucket calf and Little Piggy shower class must show 2018 calf or pig, member must be younger than 8 before Sept.1, All winners, No placing given, children must lead & setup calf. Answer calf questions.
11. Purebred Swine and Steers papers must be presented at scales, if less than 5 animals, will be combined with crossbred classes.
12. Showmanship classes will be for all species; Junior class under 13, Senior class13 and over.
13. Livestock Committee decisions are final

CLASS E – MEAT GOATS Exhibitor may not show more than Five (5) total head of meat goats. Exhibitors may not show a breeding nanny in market kid class.
LOT 1 - Buck (under 1 yr); LOT 2 – Nanny (1-5 yrs); LOT 3 Doe class (under 1 yr) LOT 4 & 5 - Single Market kid;
LOT 6 - Pair of Market Kids
PREMIUM EACH LOT: $9, 8, 6, 5, 4, 1.
CLASS F – MILK GOATS Exhibitor may not show more than Five (5) total head of Milk Goats. Exhibitors may not show a breeding nanny in market kid class.
